New Saturday Teacher - Olivia Lewis

With a lifelong love of music and a decade of classical training, Olivia is excited for her role as a student teacher at WKMS. She has studied piano since the age of seven under Sandra Mitchell, and has also explored cello, clarinet, and voice through her involvement with the Okanagan Youth Choir. Olivia completed her Grade 8 Royal Conservatory Practical and Theory exams in piano, earning First Class Honours with Distinction.

Since early 2024, she has been co-teaching with Sandra Mitchell, and is now enthused to begin teaching her own students. Olivia specializes in working with beginner to intermediate learners and is passionate about making music fun while fostering a safe and supportive lesson environment. She continues to grow as an educator under Sandra Mitchell’s mentorship, developing her skills as a well-rounded music teacher.
